Bud pics looking for advice

Some of my buds are growing what looks like new flowers with white hairs coming out of them. Is this normal? Does mean it is not ready yet? I only see this on some of my buds. I will post pics of both. The trichs on the buds are about 50/50 clear and cloudy with a few ambers but the trichs on some of my leaves are probably are about 20% amber and the rest mostly cloudy. This is only on some leaves, some others are about the same mix as the buds with very few amber trichs. I am not sure if I should start chopping now or wait a little longer. They are Master Kush and are 9 weeks from going 12/12. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Dry out a little bud and smoke it, that should give you a good idea of how ripe it is. You may want to harvest the riper parts first.

Wait until it is mostly comprised of cloudy trichromes before harvest. Otherwise lookin great.

I think its genetics , i think she is looking to get pollinated so she is pushing out new hairs/pistils. And maybe heat related stress can cause this as well...

Foxtailing, Not enough cool air going between your lights and the top of the colas, lift your lights slightly or adjust your fan. Heat stress, will not harm your bud

I want to harvest my plants when the trichomes are mostly cloudy. Right now the trichs on the buds are about 50/50 clear and milky with the odd amber, maybe 1%. The trichs on my leaves are more cloudy than clear with about 20% amber. Should I just ignore the leaves and watch the buds for trichome development? Thanks

That percentage has to be across your plant so wait for buds

sounds like u need another week. it' ripening quickly so keep a close eye on it. GL

i have one doing the same thing!!! i want to pull her but idk if i should wait or not. i pulled a sample bud thou an it was amazing. i feel like with the high i had waiting couldnt help it was already amazing. mine its a kush to. afghan kush northern cross breed. maybe its genetics like i said mine its showing mainly kush charactristics

I took a bud off about 5 days ago and smoked it yesterday. It was really good but that just makes me think how much better it's going to be if I wait. I just don't want to wait too long. The bud I smoked was only about 25% cloudy. I am going to keep a close eye on them and wait a little longer.
