Bud rot and harvesting

I harvested one plant 7 days ago and have buds drying in my grow room. There is another plant in the same room still flowering (a week from harvest perhaps). I've noticed bud rot developing on the still growing plant today, and did my best to sanatize it (cut the affected areas, cranked up the dehumidifier, put all fans on max...).

I'm trying to figure out if I should do a cure with either the already harvested or the still growing buds, or should I just dry them well and store them since they have already probably been exposed to spores and are at risk of starting to rot during the cure process.

What do you people think?

Hello Spanky84,

I would always advice you to cure any weed you grow, all weed should to be cured.
If you have infected weed (mold, rot, bugs w/e) and you cannot clear out the contamination then I would discard whatever is already beyond saving, if you on the other hand can remove the infection then there should be no issues with curing it.
When it comes to mold and rot in particular I would be extra careful and make double/triple sure it is not still festering.

You still need to make sure you burp your curing jars and that you are within the given parameters but other than that you should not fear anything.

If you feel like you it's too late to save any of it you might want to look into oil extracts.
Isopropyl alcohol extraction is effective at killing off most pathogens and it also gives you a nice end product.
