image.jpg So far this has happened to each of my plants from the middle to end of flowering. Only happens on the bud, pistils start dying back and if missed starts growing a cob web type covering where the damage is. I thought it was spider mites at first but don't see any. Anything I can do to keep this from happening? I keep them in a greenhouse. The plants never get wet, but I live in Hawaii where it's always humid

Fungicide. I use a product called Green Cure. You can saturate the bud with it and its perfectly fine for the plant/bud and kills botrytis on contact. You can catch it at an early stage and save the plant. Those are toast...sorry about your loss.

Thanks diabolical. I clip individual buds as I find them. I chopped top half of the LH a couple days ago to salvage sum of my hard work. I'll see if I can locate the product.

I have called everywhere here and nobody carries it...I'll have to get it from the mainland. The active ingredient in Green Cure is potassium bicarbonate. I just read in another forum that a homemade version using sodium bicarbonate(baking soda) is just as effective @ 1 to 1-1/2 tsp per gallon. I know the Green Cure is USDA certified for organics, don't know if the soda would be as well, or how the taste/smoke would be affected:confused:

i believe that is botrytis. its common problem in the wine industry too. clean everything with bleach start over. if trying to preserve genetics. start from freshest clone you have treat it with fungicide. clone it agian treat it. i did this with mango kush that had pm..it worked but i hear it often doesn't. i used neem oil successfully.

and if you live next to vineyard or fruit farm your fucked!!! and for the love of god dont smoke that shit. it taste like wet dog and is not healthy. i hear you can make hash with it and get out the fungus becuase its water soluble and thc oil is not effectively washing a way most of it. one last thing something is probably wrong with your air circulation/ humidity unless your genetics were infected from the get go

Went out today and found a few spots of botrytis today.

Only on a few branches that were touching the ground.
poor ventalation.

Trimmed the rot and reapplied actinovate.

When rain stops ill tie the rest of the low hanging buds up off the ground.
not many just a few we missed.

Also going to scorch the weeds with a propane burner.

Good news is we are all over it like a hawk.
If you arent it will ruin your day.
