Bud Rot => Soda Foliar => Hairs turned brown

So yesterday I saw white fluffy stuff appeared on one of the buds, I did foliar all of them with soda/soap mix (soda 1tsp/litre). Today I saw all hairs turn dark brown...
Did I kill my lovely ones? I have one week left, do they grow any bigger, or should I chop the top ones that turned brown?

I'll upload pictures tomorrow morning, I think it was beginning of bud rot, because exactly this bud was leaning over another cos it was too heavy...

It’s most likely the soap that burns the hairs. I had to use a soap spray mixture at about 5wks in but only sprayed on a small part. Next morning all the hairs of where I’d sprayed had turned brown. Figured the soap ratio was probs a bit rich and scorched them. The buds were fine and more white hairs came thru anyway.

I wouldn’t panic about that. Bud rot on the other hand, like mentioned above, fix the conditions enabling it and cut out what u see quick.
Good luck.

With bud rot you will most likely see a bud leaf dying seemingly out of nowhere..

Meaning otherwise the bud looks fine and most of the leaves in that bud are healthy other than the limp one in question.

If you give it a slight pull it will probably come right out and you have most likely located an infected area.

This is how I spot it very early on outdoors.

hard to say from those pics, but doesn't look like bud rot. was probably pm, you need to get a little more air flow in there, and drop the humididty down to 50% or less. don't try to turn the room into a wind tunnel, but make sure you have sufficient air flow
