I used a storage shed/room last year for drying with good results. I'll be using it again this year.

I kept an oscillating fan running in there blowing air around the room but not blowing directly on the buds. I hung the buds up high on string lines I nailed to the walls and had the fan down at the floor level blowing from side to side. I also kept the door cracked for some fresh air and blocked the light with some old sheets and black plastic. My room has a cement pad floor and I was worried about moisture coming from the cement so I got a small bucket of moisture absorbing crystals from the hardware store and placed it in a corner of the room. The crystals slowly absorbed moisture and turned into goo after a week or two.

It was my first attempt but it worked out well.

yeah i have a shed that is perfect but it is right beside the driveway and im sure there would be some smells generating from inside lol.. so i dont think i should use it.. i like the sound of the crystals. might have to check them out..

Smell can be a challenge. Last year I could smell mine drying from 50 yards away if the wind was right.

The moisture crystals were kind of a random thing. I had them in the laundry room because I had used them to dry out a wet cell phone, I was looking at the cement floor thinking "hmm this cement likes to get damp" and just went "aha!" It rained while I was drying and the humidity went up but they worked perfectly.

yeahhh, i hope i can figure out a simple structure that would act as a room sort of thing, wrapped with plastic sort of a greenhouse deal.. im thinking it would be almost impossible to keep it regulated when it comes to temps humitidy and all that, especially at night time.. moisture really sets in and i can alreadys see the buds not drying.. ill have to figure something out in that shed of mine.. 7 days would do the trick, then paper bags from there then to jars...

Go to Lowes pick up the 8x4x2 R-Tech foam sheets. Line the walls and ceiling, cut a vent or two in the ceiling and a few low to the ground.
