budrot at harvest

people it is harvest time next week plant doing reqally well first signs of amber trichomes on a main kola but i whent out there this morning and it has bud rot it is an indica and it has spread onto 3 out of 12 stems what should i do??
and what is best do do when curing?

try and cut all the bud that are affected off, depending on how bad the mold has spread you might not need to remove the entire buds. hopefull the mold you can see is all the is, i just lost one of my big top colas to mold, i could see a tiny bit on the outside so i picked it off but when it was opened up a bit I could see the mold went up and down about 3" either way, I ended up having to chop the top a week or 2 early its hanging up now with about 60% missing

why would a plant have mold while still growing? does this happen to only indoor grows or outdoor as well. and what does the mold look like how wil i know if i got mold also?

humidity cause the mold , and mostly on the big main colas because light doesnt get in there
i had this happen to many times , so now i top my plants , and no more mold
but it kinda sucks to lose that big center cola
