Buds, some frosty, some not so much

Could not find what I was looking for, but if you know of a thread for me to read, by all means shoot me a link.

I am couple of weeks from my scheduled harvest time and some of my buds look just about ready, while others are not anywhere near as frosty and the trichomes definitely still need development. Is this something that will still develop in the last few weeks, or is it what it is? The small ones, particularly from one plant are great, most of the bigger ones are dense but much less frosty.

Its hard to tell from the pic, but the frosty one is easily 2x smaller than the other one.

I am growing under 12 citi cobs in a 4x4 space using a flood/drain table. Strain is WIFI OG

Thanks!

The bud in the picture tagged frosty is about ready for harvest since all/most of the pistils went orange, the other bud simply isn't ready yet, still lots of white hairs, are both these buds from the same plant?

No, its not the same plant. There are 6 plants on my table, but there are pretty much finished buds on all the plants, along with some that look like they just need more time. I've only completed 2 other grows, and for those other 2 the buds were all finished pretty much at the same time.

Even the frosty one still has quite a few clear trichomes when looking at it through a loupe, and im not seeing any that have changed colors yet. I wills say the plant with the frosty one pretty much seems to be the most developed of the 6, but it's also has the smallest buds.

My first week into flower I had a timer (Etekcity) for my water pump fail while I was out of town. The person I had tending them didn't catch it until they were all severely droopy (like really bad). I suspect that's why these are so inconsistent, I was honestly surprised that they grew back so well.

seeds from the same plant won't all grow identically, and even clones can grow significantly different from each other due to stress and other conditions. so yes, more than likely the pump problem slowed those down a little, and will need more time to catch up.

You can harvest the nugs as they become ready and leave the buds on the plant that aren't ready yet till they are ready and if you want you can even leave some nugs on the plant to reveg it and try get a better run the second time round with the same plant

Looks like a couple phenos and the one that looks hazy with the white pistils has a few more weeks to go. It'll fill in some but it may just be less frosty by genetics. Doesn't really mean much about potency. They can be frosty and weak and less frosty and more potent within reason obviously
