Budworms I think?

I have caterpillars that are crawling around on my plants and eating the buds I think. I find them burrowed and some of my buds are turning brown, it's not severe yet just a couple buds here and there but it's enough to devastate me and make me worry especially since I can't seem to get rid of the problem. I've used and sprayed the product Safer, but it doesn't seem to be working. Can anyone help and tell me what I can do to get rid of this problem? The worms are brown and lime green and i grow outdoors.

Nothing like getting a protein fix during a toke, ,...I've yet to see any product that wipes out bugs in buds, without leaving any aftertaste or injuring the smoker, but I'd go Neem Oil ...but few can accept the taste....lol

No ...never say die, just have a look around your grow shop, there are many answers too choose ...here: the neem should have dissipated before you cure anyway

ok. yea I haven't tried neem just that safer stuff so I will go buy this neem stuff today and hopefully it works. Thank you

The best defense for budworms is SPINOSAD...this stuff works. I swear by it. In order to get the best results from it, you'd have to spray your plants 2 -3 times per week during each week of flowering. Spinosad is most effective at killing larvae and the small hatchlings that emerge from eggs laid by moths/butterflies. BT only kills adult catepilliars.
If you spray the flowers with spinosad as directed ( 2 - 3x per week) you'll be killing any new eggs laid during flowering; as a result there will never reach the adult stage. At first I was worried about spraying this stuff directly on the flowers but didn't have any problems. Its totally organic and if you're worried still, use MightyWash before or after harvest to clean your bud.
My last harvest, i lost 75% of my bud to catepillars; my new harvest....0%; no catepilliars; no damage to any buds!!! Just don't go too long between spraying becuase moths lay eggs constantly.

during flower or really any time...Spinosad works well...now I have used BT and it does kill the smaller new cats ..but not the eggs...only thing with spinosad late into flower can make your bud taste like ass..lol...like said use mighty wash before harvest...
