Built in wardrobe grow

Hey guys,

I've got an idea to setup a stealth grow in my built in wardrobe. The dimensions are 25" x 19" x 38", so that's 3.3sq/ft of floor space and nearly 11cu/ft of volume to cycle air through. I'm planning on using samsung hardstrips setup vertically to maximise grow height and keep temperatures down.

I'm wondering what cfm fan I would need to vent the air through this size chamber? I'm hoping to use some sort of plumbing pipe, would 4" diameter be enough?

Also, the only option to vent is up into the attic... or I could run the pipe all the way to the bathroom where it could meet up with the exhaust duct that goes out of the roof of the house. The problem is that would be about 20-30ft away, so I would likely need a bigger fan? I'm planning on using a DIY carbon filter and would like the grow to be as silent as possible.

Is there any way I could use those noctua fans? I heard they're pretty quiet.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Cheers.

A room that size shouldn't require too much for heat removal ventilation, especially if u use the attic, and if ur not using HID lights. But u will need fresh air intake as well from outside air, if ur box is sealed really well u could get away with the one exhaust fan. And for the noise issue, u could buy a more expensive fan that is really quite, or install fan down line from box like in the attic at the end of the air duct from box. I recently sealed my fan in a plywood box with foam insulation to cut down on noise and it works really well. Using pvc pipe would a lot more expensive and inflexible.
