Curious....How much life do you get out of your HPS bulbs before replacing?

i veg 9 months 18/6
if i ran 24/7 6 months
bulbs run off digital ballasts
i double the times

Your box will read about 6months at 12/12.
This is information given by the maker soyou can go a little longer.
You still get good light but as they get older they put off more heat than light itensity.
Careful when using a new bulb. Say an old bulb worked well 3 feet away...the new bulb will need to be 4 1/2 feet away if not more. Always avoid light burn cause its sneaky. Heat burn is easy to prevent.
