Can you make handworked male fittings? I've seen some people do some worked ones and they are sick! I figure you need a toll to make them though?

They're pretty cool, if worked, but are there any positives to having them like there are with having handworked female joints on domes?

Can you and would you be willing to work on this piece? I was wondering if you could take the mouthpiece from the can and replace it with a worked and flared neck?

Also could you remove the label on the side? I dont know the technique used but it seems etched I think?

The quality of the piece seems very solid and percise but except for the neck, it seems cheap to me.

I generally don't fix when it's not broke, if I had my lathe set up I would try but without it you have a 76% chance it shatters or cracks. Here is a downstem that turned out to be 4.25" I can make another and use this for my bubbler if you want. I did 8 holes because after 4 it's hard as hell to pop another hole. So I popped 4 and split them...

I would still have to spin it in the flame and iffy on that. A lathe worker could do it.
Might be tough to chuck it up with that foot on there though. Depends on your chucks and the size of that foot. Hard to tell in the pic. I would leave that thing alone and just get a new piece if you dont like the mouth piece.

I got you, just been catching up. I work all day at a shop making pipes, then come home and make all of your orders.
