So I first noticed the issues on 08/05. Instead of burning I now think its a calmag/P deficiency.

Reservoir was started on 07/25 and was distilled/RO water with jungle juice grow and micro @ 5mL/Gal, hydroguard @ 10mL/Gal, SuperThrive @1mL/8gal, ph was 5.3 ppm was 400. on 07/31 I added 10mL of CalMag to the resivoir. From then on, the Ph was maintained at 5.8 and PPM at 550. I changed my resivoir on 08/08 and it was the same as the above nutrient levels, but I added the calmag from the start instead of a few days into the new res. PH levels were steady at around 5.4-5.6, ppm levels were steady at around 550.

The burn OR deficiency continued, so on 08/16 I changed the resivoir. this time over 8 gal I used 20mL of grow, 20mL of micro, 15 mL of bloom, 10mL of sensizym, 6mL of superthrive. Ph has been steady at around 5.9-6.2 ppm at 350. Going thru my notes I noticed I didn't add calmag, so on 08/19 I added 5 mL of calmag, and I was thinking now my problem could be a P deficiency so I also added another 15mL of bloom. I removed the dead foliage and here is where I am at.

am I on the right track with adding more P and more calmag?

Do you have any idea of what the NPK values are that you are feeding to the plant?

I really doubt you have P deficiency.. Possibly a P lockout. Which giving more P is not necessarily going to fix.

Ok, yeah I was reading another post and they were saying theirs was a lockout and their leaves looked like mine. If it is a lockout, how did this happen and how do I prevent it in the future?

This is where I keep going back and forth. How can I be having nutrient burn at such a low ppm? The last 10 days or more they have been under 400?

Hmm,,,while calmag looks to be the trouble I suspect it lies in the fluctuating Ph...

Ph in Hydro needs to run between 5.8 and 6.2 with 6.0 being the goal....The plant will tolerate 5.5 to 6.5 for SHORT periods......You should adjust the Ph everyday at lights on, or at least check it! In hydro it takes 3 days to show trouble, so you may have been having a Ph related problem as Ph effects the absorption rates of macro and micro nutes and one of the first that show is calmag problems......While I know my starting ppm's. I find that Ph is far more important if I started out right with my nute ratio's...

You stated a Ph of 5.2 and 5.4 at times....If this lasted for longer then 24hrs at any one time. Then your problem is uncontrolled Ph...
Just to be safe ,, Dump, reload and keep the Ph between the 5.8 -6.2 mark between lights on times (24hr periods).

Good Luck

Thanks. I believe I will do that. I've heard burn, deficiency, and lockout. Solving the ph issue could very well do the trick. One thing of note, over the last 3 days my ph has constantly been on the rise to like 6.5 and I have adding ph down daily. Now, I'm changing my res today. As this is neither here nor there, I'm just wondering why my ph has constantly been rising.

It looks like you more than one thing going on AND different plants have different things going on. They are not all the same genetics it looks like, right?

The first pic has the yellow tips that look very much like nutrient burn... It also looks like a thin blade... those plants with thin blades often are sensitive.
Perhaps try feeding your plants individually. In general, the thinner the leaf, the slower growth, the less nutes they want.

The tip burn could have come from feeding before the last 10 days.

As to the lockout... Dr Who is right... in hydro I believe it is about 5.8 that the most nutrients are available. I would keep it in that range and expect to see improvement.

I think the real problem though is the Advanced soup you have going on... Those bottles don't even tell you what is really in them... Just that they will make buds "EXPLODE"... who knows what you are giving the plants, but they are not liking it. I would slim down and drop the booster and additives... Just use base and micros. Get healthy plants with that then explore more if you wish.
