Burnt tops when fan didn't come on...

I have a sealed tube air-cooled 600 watt hps in a 2x3x5 cabinet, and it works great and stays cool.(around 80*) Except when my timer messed up and the light came on for an hour without the vent fan coming on and the temp was over 100, but the direct heat did the most damage. My plant is 2.5' tall and half way thru budding, most of the plant looks good except for the side of the top bud and a couple of branches got burnt...
I trimmed the burnt plant material off, my questionis will the plant be ok? Anything I should do special?

yeah it will get a little stunted but it should recover...might add a little time on to flowering, and you have a higher chance of a hermi happening due to stress, but you'll probably be fine :)

I had the same thing happen a few months ago and i just trimmed the tops off and they got fat as hell instead of your normal cola shape and even the part that got burned still smoked ok
