Some stories say he was waving the head around, taunting everyone. Ya like I am going near that.

no kidding, getting stabbed 40 times and decapitated isent the worst way to die i dont think, on that 1000 ways to die show some guy was under his truck working on it and a semi driver failed to see him ran him over and seperated his upper torso from his legs , the guy lived for 3 hours after being rushed to the hospital

All the people who say they would do nothing... shame on you, what if it was someone you cared about? would you do nothing then? what if it was YOU, i'm sure youd appreciate a bus full of cowards wouldn't you....

for the record, i would have tried to help... i may not have succeeded, but i would've died trying to do the right thing... i'm sure the persons family is all very proud that NO-ONE tried to stop this madman. You can't expect people to be heroes if your not willing to be one yourself.

Peace

ok i dont belive you just go nuts for no reason if you go nuts for no reason it just means youve been fucking nuts and noone has picked up on it yet, and its easy to say anything about a situation like oh i would have done this this and this but when it acutally goes down i see little action from those people. i cant say for sure if i would have jumped on his ass but im not beyond throwing a hard object into his head and then jumping on him

You are quick to judge for someone not personally involved. I am sure if it was someone I loved, care about or even knew I would try to do something. But I as I said before, how can you know for sure unless you are in that exact situation? You can't. So don't say they are all cowards.

If it was someone you knew or cared about, and no-one helped (assuming you werent there yourself)... how would you feel? would you still say there werent cowards?

Well you'd probably be more angry with the RAGING LUNATIC than the bystanders who didn't put themselves infront of his knife.

no you cant put that on someone just to help especally unarmed as they most likely were and the guy has a knife and stabbing the guy you cant say anyone is a coward, that guy just didnt go nuts being a model employee that guy must have pissed him off something terrible.

It is easy for you to say this all, but you never know until you are put in that situation and fortunatly I have yet to come near anything like this.

I'm sure most of you have heard about this incident where a guy on a Greyhound bus stabbed a passenger 50 times.. Not one person came to help aid this poor victim during the 50 stab duration. When you think about it, 50 stabs takes awhile and by the 10 stab mark someone should do something. I guess that's Canada for you. This is sickening and I'm ashamed of how a bus full of passengers didn't do a single thing to help but just to save their own asses... This is the world we live in people, and there better be some positive changes quick...
In the British press a month or so back was an incident in America where an old man was crossing the road and was hit by a car. He flew through the air and landed in the middle of the road. The driver continued, other cars drove past and a few passers by just stopped and took photographs! It took the cctv operator to call help for him, this would not happen in England I can assure you. The big problem over here is the fact that when incidents do happen only too often a 'have a go hero' ends up getting hurt also. Several people stabbed to death trying to help the original target, who gets off with their life. So what should you do????

Being a barman i've had to deal with pissed off people with knives before, usually wanting to stab me... i've been saved by people who don't even know me, and i've had to deal with it myself, it's not hard to disarm someone with a knife if you use your head, but guess which situation i was more grateful for, a stranger helping, or a stranger watching?

Yea i hear what your saying, I'm not saying it'll be different in America... It's just that people need to look out for one another for a change...

Thats all very well but I dont believe anybody who is too scared to help for fear of losing their own life and leaving their children without one of their parents should be branded a coward. The prick carrying the knife/weapon is the coward. I quite agree that disarming someone isnt too difficult, but I say that with years of experience in martial arts. Most people have never even had a fight since school!
