Busted In Houston Tx

I find it odd that they are only charging my wife and I with possession and not cultivation or intent to distribute. Also they didnt take my grow log and left ash trays full of half smoked joints and full prerolled joints ready to go. The cops also stole things from our house... they stole my daughters gameboy... and for my birthday I got a green ribbon magnet that said support the wake and bake and they took that too...wtf... FIGHT THE POWER!

All they care about is what they can confiscate and what they can steal, they are far worse than crack heads.

She called me to give me a heads up on what had happened, so i rushed home to take responsibility for my grow and attempt to save her from jail (she does not smoke but knows that i need to) Soon as i arrived home they arrested both of us....charged with poss 4oz to 5lbs (felony) Now here is the real bitch... they called CPS and took our kids away... said that growing in my attic was dangerous to the kids health...Also we have not even been to court yet and allready we are on probation and both owe over 1,000$ each!!! one state over this is perfectly fine and normal but here it is not only illegal but dangerous......wtf fml..... FIGHT THE POWER!!!

damn sorry to hear that thats just horrible i suggest move out of texas when you get your kids back and off probation

Right now things are looking good.... The lawyers that i have talked to agree that they had no warrant everything was out of sight and my grow room was locked! We are likely to to get off scott free!! Oh my sweet relief.... meeting in person with the lawyer I have picked in person today at 3 and we have court this next thursday... stay tuned and I will keep yall up to date on what happens.. FIGHT THE POWER!!

Ok if you live in Harris county and have a grow, THEY DO NOT CHARGE YOU WIT CULTIVATION OR INTENT. They only charge you with weight. words straight out of my lawyers mouth, I asked because it was bugging me why they didnt want to charge me with cultivation. I thought maybe it was because thier case was too weak to hit me with that. It is a weak case and entry was bad, just thought this was interesting and may help some of you. FIGHT THE POWER!

From what I understand, the law is grey here and somewhat subjective as to whether it is possession or distribution. I've also heard sometimes they will try to count the dirt and pots as part of the weight and screw you. A good lawyer won't let that happen.

I have also heard of each plant being a predetermined weight, like 6 ounces or whatever per plant, so instead of getting you for cultivation, they get you for possession of some stupid amount. Again, a good lawyer is imperative for this to work out for you, good luck!

i was on it in az while awaiting trial and they didnt play
u had to call in everyday to see if u had to take a drug test and attend drug and alcohol classes

Im not sure what "they" call it here but I call it fucky! I have to call probation 24 hours before my court dates, report to probation after every court date, urinate, pay to urinate(17$), pay probation fees(40$ each time), and call 48 hours before I leave the county and ask for permission. So every court date costs me 114$ (for me and wife) not to mention our lost wages. Last time we went and paid they gave us a receipt that showed a balance of 920$ each....FIGHT THE POWER!

It should get thrown out of court. Your grow op was not the reason they went to your house in the first place.

I dont remember the.name of the case that made this illegal, but there is one back in the 60's, the cops went ro his house in search of X, but found Y (which was marijuana possesion), while X was gambling machines. He lawyered up and made illegal for cops to get you for something they werent looking for..

I'll do some research myself and post anything I find.

Hopefully it work a out for you man.
