Hello,

Right now I have a 4' vortex fan pulling air out of my room with a 4' air intake hole, temps hover around 80-83 with my 400 watt going (it's cold outside), my ducting is pretty long the way I have it setup it is probably about 15-20 feet long (has to be this long). I am getting a can filter to mount in the room and I think this will slow down my air exchange.

So when summer comes and air temps are hotter inside I am wondering am I better off getting another 4' fan to put somewhere in my line, or should I just upgrade to a 6' fan?

Also while I am at it, right now I vent back into my home via another room, can I tie into the bathroom venting to exhaust outside or even better does it work to vent straight out of the attic vents. (my concern is I live in a townhome and do not know if this creates a wierd heat signature issue)

thanks!

I am in the same boat as you. I setup my cabinet in the early winter and temps were fine all winter. Now that its getting warmer outside I think my 4" ducting isnt going to cut it. Every day the temps inside creep a few degrees higher. I am going to upgrade to 6" when I get my tax rebate economy helping check. Running 2 4" fans will be too loud for me.
