buying seeds

Yes, it sucks that the US (DEA) are asshats when it comes to seeds and buying them.

But if you/the seed company do it right, they will never know that you have seeds in the mail.

Don't use your CC to buy seeds online. Get the seed-shops address, send cash and a return envelope. That's how I do it.

Isn't buying seeds on the internet illegal and traceable, for those of us living in the US? Is this a silly notion?
No it is not illegal. The AMA has down greaded Marijuana, it is no longer concider a norcotic. In the State of Florida, you are alloud up to 25 plants, for the charge of a misdeminer. but if you harvis any of them, then it is a felowne. In 1990 there were 5.9 Million people arrested for just smoking Marijuana, in 2,000 there were only 700,000 arrested for smoking marijuana. The change is here, we just need a few more on board.

It is federally illegal and customs will intercept and confiscate any seeds... if they can find them. However, almost all European seed companies ship the seeds in a stealthy/hidden manner (or will at least offer to do so for an additional fee).

If customs does confiscate the seeds, you will likely still receive the packaging minus the seeds and a letter advising you that contraband was in the package and that it was confiscated - and to contact them if wish to contest the confiscation. Every letter I've heard about also states something along the lines that 'no further action will be taken.' I have not heard of anyone being arrested/charged/fined directly for ordering seeds.

Also, that information about Florida and the AMA is incorrect. Florida has some of the most draconian laws in the U.S. in regards to cultivation (roughly four times federal guidelines and with mandatory sentencing of 30 years or more for having over 25 plants. Under 25 plants is still a felony in Florida. The AMA also does not schedule drugs or have any control over how it is scheduled - only the government does.
