Bye mary jane hello nutmeg

Today is my first time going all day without some smoke since i started way back when. It really sucks. I simply cannot afford to get a bag right now. Times are tough. I have 2 choices I can starve or buy weed and im a pretty big guy so starving is out of the question. I find myself getting pissede off about everything. I was ready to smash the t.v. when they were talking about the GM strike. So i decided to try some nutmeg. My cousin introduced me to it a few years back when he got out of prison. They sell it and get high off it all the time in there. I never tried it cause i always had weed and when my dad tried it he because he was drinking with it. Anyways i took 2 tablespoons about 45 min ago and I dont feel very high. I read it takes a little bit to kick in but im about to take some more. Does anyone have any experience with nutmeg? How much shoud I take? I read if you take 5 tablespoons you will get so fucked up you just want to die. So i dont want to take too much.

Bump. Nobody has taken nutmeg that can help me?

Yes I am. I am just gonna take another spoon full. I was gonna wait to see what people said but fuck it. If i trip out and die tell my mom i love her. I was reading about it and a story on erowid.com says two guys were in the mountains taking it and they ended up walking into a police station but ass naked. I just hope that shit dont happen to me. This stuff tastes like shit. I wish i had a joint.

come to think of it when I get the munchies sometimes and there is nothing to eat really I make toast with sugar and cinnamon and butter but sometimes being that I'm stoned I don't really look to see if I have all the ingredients and sure as shit were out of cinnamon but we got nutmeg ah close enough and I pour a shit load of that shit on my toast and never got high what so ever off of it

I know for a fact it gets you high. It takes longer to take effect if you eat before you take it. My cousin got high off of it all the time in prison. They take a rubber glove and fill the finger with it and sell it in there. I just dont want to take too much and then get super high when it does kick in. I do feel a little high but nothing like im supposed to. I'm thinking maybe i need to take more because of my size. I'm about to take another spoon full.

My grow won't be ready for a couple of weeks yet but I read somewhere yesterday that if you take little buds and wrap them in tinfoil and bake them in the sun that you can get a nice little buzz. You air them out an hour or so before you puff. Well it worked great. In fact, I was quite impressed and will always remember that one.
I feel for ya flint. That's a bummer. I can't afford to buy dope either. That's why I'm growing...it's just too expensive. I hear ya.

i cant afford GOOD dope that is from a reliable, safe & secure connection, etc. I had one that i was getting for $15 a gram of master kush but he moved away to college......... damn him for trying to improve the quality of his life......j/k lol.

yep babe. i cut a small branch to take pics of since i only got a webcam and its an outside plant. dried it out pretty well in the microwave and it kicked 2x better buzz than the mid im able to buy around here. im a lilttle under half way id figure right now......i cant wait. Ill smoke fan leaves that are covered in trichromes before i harvest a bud that is going to be vital weight. I only sample because i prune to make a bunch of tips to accommodate for my sampling ways. lol

Yeah I've tried to make nutmeg tea before. It didnt do much for me. I ground some nutmeg in one of those coffee grinders. It tastes bad but it smells good. Good luck in finding bud though. I feel your pain.

Its the next day now. I took 4 tablespoons. I felt happy for a while until i fell asleep in my recliner. It didnt feel anything like getting high off of weed though. I was told its like smoking a joint and staying high for 8 hours. I guess it did help me though I didnt feel like i had to smoke. I dont really know how to explain the high other than i felt really mellow. i did feel depressed after the high started to wear off. Maybe thats why they say to take a maoi with it. Other than the depression and the taste I would say it was a pretty good high. I would definitely do it again. I am now on my 2nd day marijuana free. I have never went that long without smoking since I started.

I have been dry but never for 2 days. The longest i have been dry is over night waiting for them to get it the next day. Ive been smoking off and on since I was 12 But i've been pretty heavy into it the last 5 years. I was smoking a quarter a day. Sometimes more if I have it available. I can always go get a quarter for $40 but i usually pay $30-35 for the same shit. That is not the case this time though. I simply can not afford it right now and this citys economy is such shit I cant even get a job at Mcdonalds. I am supposed to be getting some money today so im gonna get a bag. It sucks though cause the moneys not gonna be here until way later today.

Best of luck to you. I don't think I'd actually take nutmeg as a source to catch a buzz, but whatever works for you. I don't mind having to take breaks from weed. It's weird cause I can go weeks, months, years without smoking weed (I have in the past), but I can't even go more than 3 days without a cigarette. >.>' When you have to stop smoking weed for a lil while, you always catch one hell of a buzz the next time you get some. =)

i cant go without it and last night i couldnt go get my shit to sell cause the dude ran out so i was going thur it so eventualy i broke down and bought a quarter of dank i paid 60 it wasnt worth it but i needed to smoke bad now cause of that im 60 short on reup lol oh well maybe my dude will let me slide

You could try Salvia its legal and it will definately get you high. It's a head trip.
