Cab grow .. 1st time .. Suggestions?

Hello all,

1st time grower... Just got my Card. After reading lots of posts online about growing and such i decided to go with this setup.

If anyone has any suggestions please post. I am worried about the temperatures in the garage.

SO they say that a picture is worth a thousand words ...

Anyway, So as you can see there are two 4 inch fans bringing air in just above the bucket rim. The light is a 400 watt hps for the flowering area (air cooled by 1 4 inch fan) I made a carbon filter on the exhaust end of the duct.

ON the top chamber i have the ballast of the HPS light and 2 14 watt grow tubes from Walmart. I have 1 4 inch fan that is drawing air out and will be used as an ONA type filter...

I have a 6 inch clip on fan that i dont know where to clip on tooo.. hehehebongsmilie

But yeah thats about it... Ill post the new pics with the sixtuplets in them When i can...maybe sooner than later.. hahaha..:leaf:

That is a nice setup you have there. How tall of plants can you grow in there. Remember you will need atleast 12 inches from the tops to the light. Looks like you will be able to grow about 2ft tall plants in there. And i would probably move the ballast to the outside of the cab. It will put off alot of heat and you really don't want that. Even if it is in your clone area.

entire flowering section: 58 inches (close to 5 feet)

from top of bucket to light: 3 feet

Im going to do a Scrog.. The net will go about 10 inches above the bucket ... its gonna be close man... So 12 inches from the light or the glass?
I was thinking the same thing about getting the ballast out... But it was such a bitch getting the cable in there (not good planing on my part :joint:)

Im also trying to keep it stealthy.. so didnt want to have to try to hide a ballast. But then again.. this stealth thing only works if your family is hearing impaired... The light can be controlled... but i have yet to see a fan that can cool a little room like that and not make noise!!!..

Anyway.. Im trying to get the humidity up in the clone bucket....

So temp in the veg room should be in the realm of 76- 89?

I dont know but earlier today i was doing a test run before i got my clones and ran everything for 3 hrs and i couldnt get the temps below 89 90 91..

The meater showed 89 when i rested it on the bucket lip... So then what.. when i have the flowers going ... OMg im so worried.. hahaha... all this money.. anyway.. faith i have and ill see what happens when i get there. I still have a 6 in clip on fan that i can put in the flowering room..

OK im doing a book here... have to go say wassup to the best wife ever!... heheehe

Lookin good,

To help with the temps maybe you want to run your lights at night.
Litter cheaper too. Start them at 7pm.
