Cab Grow 2x2x4 LxWxH

Hello. Okay right into it...

I'm limited on space so I had to settle for 2 quare feet. I'm going for decent yield with a big emphasis on quality(as much as this space will allow). I would like to know what you nice people think.

Strain: Nirvana's WW
Box: 2x2x4 walls covered in mylar
Lights: Trying to decide, please help! Options are: 400w mh/hps, 600w mh/hps, or 200w LED link HERE. Would 400/600w be too hot? I am prepared to install a 6'' inline exaust fan if I have to. One problem is air cooled tubes are 27 inches so I have to go with a wing reflector. Temp is a big concern and with only 4 feet I worry plants will get too close.
Ventilation: With HID lighting I could go 8 inch 500 cfm Intake on bottom left with 6 inch inline 440 cfm Exaust on top right. OR
With LED, probably only 2x 4inch 100 cfm fans.

Both setups are about the same price for me. Which in your opinion would be optimal for my space?

With either build Im going with 2x 6 inch oscilating fans one for bush one for buds between lights.

Could the lighting be optimized with some 42-85w CFL's? Or a full spectrum florecent?

Going with soil, 3 1/2 gallon pot. Not sure on brand of nutrients yet.

I'd like to know some opinions. Thanks!

Flat white paint> mylar.
I say go LED.
You want more CFM on exhaust than on intake.

Other than that I'd say you're set.

I can get a roll of Mylar 50ft for about 30$ I'm not sure of paint prices but I'm assuming it will be around 15$ If flat white is superior I would definitly use that, but from my understanding, mylar is a little better. I wouldn't mind spending 15$ for "a little better". Painting is way easier though.

Go with the flat white paint, you will not be disappointed.

In growing in less than 2'x2' but a bit more height. LEDs work great, not much worry about heat. SCRoG will definitely be your friend. Check out my sig for a few ideas. I'll probably end up with a qp from my recent harvest.

I really like your setup. I've never seen a lazy susan with a round scrog. Nice yields too

I didnt have much luck when I tried leds a few years back but some of the newer high wattage models look to be comparable to hids. I would say go with the led just because you dont have to remove as much heat from the box. When I use my 1000 watters' I have an ac ducted directly into the sealed hoods.

Yeah I think for my space an LED might be the best option because of heat. I think I'll just bite the bullet and buy a high quality LED. One that I can put in a bigger rig if I can make more space in the future. I will post some pics when I get it all setup.

I say go with 250w or 400w HPS with cool tube

and some cheap LED for additional light, and for veg
