Cal-Mag an absolute must?

I use RO water, GH FloraNova vegg/blooms, Diamond Nectar, Floralicious Plus and KoolBloom. Is it an absolute that I need Cal-Mag in my mixtures? By the way im growin in rapid rooters in hydroton in and EbbnFlo.:joint:

Absolute must? Probably not depending on what's in your nutes.

I would have it on hand in case your plants start showing a mg deficiency.

Personally - I would add a little to your water no mater what considering you are using an RO filter.

GH does have CalMag in theirs. I found it not to be enough after filtering with RO. By the time I'm flowering I'm throwing 7.5ml per gallon at them. In a 70 gal res that's about 500ml. When I don't I get small rust spots all over larger established fans.

i always use it at least 5ml to a gal..mg is one of the #1 probs i see on here. MJ eats that shit up and if you use a magnetic driven pump its going to pull it out faster too.

Thanks for the help fellas Cal Mag will def. be added to nute regiment. Meangreen, magnetic pump, how do I know if thats wht I have? Shuld I get another kind?

should say on the box, go to your hydro shop and ask they should be able to help you out if you want to switch your pump out...
