cal/mag deficiency?

Hi I was wondering if I should add some cal mag to my water in my next watering. The edges of my leaves are turning a little brown and look weird. Sorry the picture isn't that great.

You should slow down on your feeding judging from the darkness of that leaf.

Use what's recommended on the bottle. It's usually only 0.5ml per liter. Get it on ebay if you can't find it in the hydro store. Go with Calimagic if you do use ebay,
it's the cheapest and there's less nitrogen in the bottle than other brands which is good. In my country they sell a product called flairform cmx which is cal/mag + all
trace elements so it pays to do some browsing, not all cal mag supplements are called cal mag.

Thanks man! I appreciate it. Yeah I use floranova grow and bloom I'm using the bloom now. Maybe I'll just feed with water next feeding. I'll find some cal mag supplement hopefully what your talking about with all trace elements, thanks man!

That looks like classic nute burn, doesn't look much like a cal mag def. However I get my calmag on eBay. I would just back off on the nutes slightly though, should fix you up. Otherwise looks good.

I just fed them the other day so should I just cut back my next feed? Or should I just use water? My last feed was full dose and I that was my heaviest feed. Ive been usually giving them half strength til that last feed, figured I could bump it up to full strength. ...guess not haha so anyways should I just give them water with my next watering? Or half strength like I was before?

You should be doing nute watering then a plain watering then nutes again etc.. a tsp of cal mag per gallon every watering or every other plain watering. Personally I use a tsp every watering. I use botanicare calmag that I get on ebay and have excellent growth.

Ah! I've just been feeding everytime. I'll skip every other from now on. I need to get my hands on some calmag. Can I get it at menards or homedepot?

It is more readily available online. Go to ebay and search botanicare cal mag or calimagic. You can even buy small quantities for a decent price. Remember to filter to "buy it now" and select to sort by lowest price first.
