Can you give a plant too much cal/mag? Should I dose it right to the end (aside from flushing).

yes, too much of one can cause issues with the other nutrient being locked out.

You can use too much of just about anything. If you are referring to Botanicare Cal-Mag, I use it up to about 7-10 days before harvest generally speaking. As far as dosing, follow the instructions on the bottle. I believe it is 1 tsp per gallon of water.
