I've grown twice now first time was deff newbie learned a lot. Second time was way better than the first bit I have had calcium magnesium def both times. Both times I never really fixed the issues. Cuz is go back n forth between thinking it was too much cal mag or too little.
From advanced growers I was wondering when using a reverse osmosis how much do u raise the ppm or ec of calcium or magnesium or if using Humboldt cal mag concentrate how much? I know each strain is different n requires a bit more or less so I'm asking for how much is a good but safe amount to use every watering or every feeding...using fox farm dirt which is known to be lacking in calcium I ph water every time around 6.1 to 6.5

the problem with cal/mag is you can over do it

I like to give cal/mag once per week max in veg as my normal plant feed has cal/mag in it

then in bloom they need some cal/mag for the 1st 2 to 4 weeks still then its once a week max, using RO water will mean you can use a little more cal/mag just depends on your soil bacteria remember calcium phosphate can build up in the soil and then cause lock outs as you get deeper into flowering

If your using ffof you don't have to ph your water going into it ....that soil buffers itself plus ph swing in soil is a good thing IMO ....your rite about mag def in ffof soil especially the past few years .....also next time you use ffof add a little extra perlite and if you think ahead you could ammend the ffof so you don't run into def issues .......just so you know I use ffof personally and I water straight out of my hose in some of my gardens no issues at all and never check my ph using ffof unless I'm super bored then il do a test in a new batch of soil just to be sure it's buffering and that's just for shits and giggles. Good luck
