Calcium def? Dolomite lime + calmag? SOS! Help please!

Hey RIU,

For those who have seen my posts, sorry for posting a bunch of times, it's just I've made some recent developments. My plant has been showing reddish brown dots and yellowing of leaves. Lower leaves are starting to turn brown and crisp and die off. Half of the rest of the leaves half red/brown dots. I'm pretty certain it's a calcium def. So lets hit it with some bg info.

Nirvana NL auto, currently on day 46-47 from seed. (Put seed in shot glass of water on 6/4) Started to show pistils after 24 days, and it's been flowering since.
Started in one gallon pot, FFOF 65/35 perlite (1/2" perlite lined on bottom of smart pot) Only watered with distilled water bought from the wally mart. Another reason I feel like it's a cal/mag def. Fed with FFtrio, started out 1/4 str and haven't fed more than 1/2 str yet.
Ph of runoff after last watering was 5.5-6, but after digging into the soil a bit and ph'd that with distilled water, came out to 6.5.
I've had a little bit of a pest problem, and had to result to using azamax. Used azamax right around first week or so of flowering I believe at 1/4 str two or three times, and 1/2 str once. After the 1/2 str of azamax, haven't really noticed much of a problem.

I've also considered the possibility of it being rootbound... but I've been kinda scared to check the roots lol. I have her scrogged currently, and I think I JUST found the perfect position for her to finish in, but if need be for a flush or some light trimming on dead leaves, I guess I'd have to cave and just take her out. And if that's the case, I might just leave the scrog out for the rest of the grow. Seems like the stretch is finished at this point. Makes maintenance a whole lot easier.

Now for the million dollar question... I got real scurred and got some epsoma dolomite lime. Added one tbsp finely grounded to my one gallon smart pot. Does anyone know how long it takes for this lime to kick in? B/c since then, some leaves have still been kinda yellowing/browning I think. (Not the question lol) I actually can not for the life of me tell if it's actually getting better. The new growth seems fine, maybe the red dots were just always there, I just couldn't notice it as well. (Really freaking bushy and I heard trimming autos were bad so I didn't take any leaves off till now). So I'm on the verge of getting some calmag once I get the money. Would it be overkill if I RECENTLY added dolomite lime to the soil, and started to feed with calmag?

Here's a picture of what most of the leaves I took off looked like. (about eight or nine medium sized fan leaves). Right now, I only have about two or three leaves that are kinda brown and starting to crisp but those were already effected, just wasn't bad enough for me to trim it off. Half of the leaves have small reddish dots, but I feel like that stuffs kinda old... not 100% sure. Most of the larger fan leaves have slightly brown tips.

Thanks to everyone in advance for any help or advice!

epsom.salt with garden lime bro, half a ts of lime, 1 ts of epsom salts to gallon of water,
make sure u check your ppm
Thanks smokey for the reply. Are you saying water again with lime and some epsom? I've already got one tbsp of lime in there that I put in about a week ago. Wouldn't extra lime be damaging it more than anything?

Top dress with the dolomite, 1 tablespoon per gallon of medium, for a long term fix. Foliar feed the Cal-Mag, 1/2 tsp per gallon, for the short term. The lime will take 2-3 weeks minimum before it kicks in. The foliar feeding will help in the now until the lime can take over. I would only foliar feed them once a week or so for a few weeks though. A little CalMag can go a long ways....

Thanks supertramp for the reply lol. I've already top dressed with epsoma dolomite lime finely ground one tbsp/gal. It's been I'd say about two weeks now? I'm currently unavailable to get any calmag due to financial reasons. Do you think I could add some epsom salt to it? And which one would you recommend getting if so.

On a side note... the new growth seems to be doing ok, no red spots on any of them. But just to be careful and I'm not completely sure why, but I went ahead and flushed with a gallon of water. I know you're supposed to do it 2-3x your medium but I just figured it flushed it pretty well with the one gallon considering there was still some water before I flushed. And I'm not sure if I'm trippin or if I see new bite marks on some leaves... Thrips might be back, but I'm concerned about using azamax this late in flowering, so I'm leaning more towards pyretherin. Would that be ok to spray during flower b/c it's organic? Any brands you'd recommend? Thanks a lot!
