Ok people i know there a lot of you who have tried Cali Connection, what im looking for here are some feedback and opinions on thier feminized seeds, specificaly the Pre 98 Bubba, do they have a tendency to herm or what ???

I've been waiting for months now for the reguler version of the Pre 98 Bubba to be restocked, it has been soldout everywhere. When i saw the free Cali Connection mix pack promotion i said hell with it and went ahead and picked up the fem's.

Oh well i got my seeds i guess i'll just grow em out and do my own review. Not a big fan of fem's i hope it all works out ok, i have the mixed pack though and those are regular bean's im sure i'll find something nice in there!

I just started growing out some CC pre 98 Bubba. Started them 11 days ago, so not a lot to report at this time but I am really looking forward to working with them.

i'm growing the pre98 bubba atm now too, it's about idk, six weeks or so into veg, and looking great thus far..
i've grown idk, maybe 1o fems from as many breeders, and i've never had any issues with hermies at all.. but i'll say that i try and stick with some of the breeders who seem to have fem down pretty well and would never grow say a fem bean from greenhouse, nirvana or even like barneys farm as i have heard that those three seem to have some issues with their fem beans..

Keep them stress free throughout their entire cycle and they'll treat you well imo. There is always a risk with getting hermies from fem seeds if there are ~ higher than recommended temps, overdoing additives in flower, major shifts/drops in ph, light leaks during dark cycle, etc, etc...
All these factors will cause enough stress to indoor plants to maybe cause them to throw out nanners, even some lines from reg' seeds can hermie if your enviroment is not dialed in correctly.
Unless your buying commercial mass market fem's like racer' already mentioned ;-).
Just enjoy your time with growing them and treat them like you would any other strain/plant and you will be fine.

Yeah i've probably grown about 100 fem beans in the past, never had any real problems either untill the the last batch. I bought some Dutch Passison Bluemoonshine, they were the most expensive seeds i ever bought too, about $150 before shipping as i remember. It kind of just turned me off of the fem's after spending that much money on em if you know what i mean. Anyway good luck with the Bubba's, im gonna be cracking mine this weekend. I'll be sure to post my results.

Dutch Passion have a pretty bad rep with their fems, and they're supposed to have originally created the feminisation technique too!?

I don't know, i'll tell you what though i'll never buy any of their beans again after that.

Im kind of leaning away from the Dutch breeders now, focussing more on the North American breeders lately US and Canadian. I just picked up somd Dr Atomic, Atomic Jam (NorthernLights X Blueberry) and some Jorden of the Islands, God's Lemon Skunk (God Bud X Lemon Skunk) from VancouverSeedbank. Only thing about the Canadian seedbanks is they take a little longer to get your seeds, they only deal in cash & money orders and you have to mail your order in if your outside of Canada, at least the one's i've dealt with. I placed my order with VancouverSeedbank a full 2 weeks before the Attitude and they both got here the same day.
