Question for the pro outdoor cali growers, is it recommended to grow around this season? what's the chances of having a good grow if start growing in september? I was thinking it shouldn't be that bad, since we hardley get any rain and it's always fresh or warm. If so, what strain should i go with for outdoors? thanks!

Its just a tad late for the light schedule, but the weather is always optimal, atleast in southern california, no frost.

okay, so is it worth it? what harms can it do to the plant? Is it harder to grow and maintain during this time? thank you!

i started outdoors, then i move indoors, i let her veg under 400hps 18 on 6 off (lights) then i switch the lights to 12-12 to start flower, belive it or not i move then back outside to finish so far so good. i also live in so. cal. right now the days are shorter and nights are longer, the small plant might start flowering right away, and wont have time to grow very big. good luck

Ive done this and im in so cal, and it actually worked out pretty well....the plant stayed short, the buds obviously werent top grade...the shorter light cycle causes it to flower earlier...but it gave me some decent smoke for like a month or two and it was only one plant..so you could try it. but i did it just cuz i wanted to try it...i didnt pay any attention to the plant...just watered it every now and then...bagseed too...you should still do your normal grow in the right season and then do the fall winter grow just for fun and to see how good it turns out
by the way man, your pic is awesome...love that chick from weeds
