Anyone have any experience with these lights? I currently have bought two of these for my grow tent in lieu of the shitty Chinese made LED lights fixtures. I like the fact that everything with these lights are made in the USA and the entire system is programable to the user' preference. Any comments are much appreciated. Just keep the bullshit and trolling away.

Clw aren’t very good lights. Look to timber, hlg or build your own qb or cob light.

F-in A cotton that looks like a wonderful bud. I bought two of these 550's for basically a 4x5 area of hydro 6 cell 5 gallon R-dwc. Do you think i will need both for flower? I know they state the coverage is about 4x4 for flower.

Started germination in peat pellets and moved to organic soil. 3 weeks in today and no problems seen yet. Watering with 1/4 strength nutrients about every other day. Have them vegging under a 1200w bestva reflector series now seem to be doing well. I may have started veg a little early, the cotyledon leaves were still the most prominent leaves once I started.

Wondering if it would be a wise idea to veg for another week and get hydro running, then rinse soil off the roots and transplant into hydro. Any concerns or objections?

They aren't going to keep up with current gen cobs and QBs, but CLW builds the best damn blurples on the market. I ran an old solar storm 440 and that light used to crush my 3x3.

Growing is kind of a preference thing if it works for you and you see results go for it I recommend personally if you want to do hydro just start that way and run it through you can switch from soil to hydro it’ll take the plant a second to develop the roots for the hydro but it’s hard to get all that dirt out might cause problems if your using pumps so rinse well. The new clw lights are pretty neat and if you buy their spectrum controller your able to customize depending on what stage your in, you’ll get a little less yield than hps but the quality is great they also stretch a lot less under those clw lights. If you supplement uvb it’ll get even frostier.
Check out that video from their site everything is subject to interpretation but seeing is believing. Good luck with your grow as far as both lights for your space not sure you might want to just buy another tent and use both separate or a bigger tent and use both keep em approx 20” away in flower. And have a blast man!!!!

I’m hip to your trip. I just got a 550 for a 4x2x7 tent, along with a couple supplemental 2’ Kind LED bar lights (different spectrums for veg & flower). The controller and preset programs seem very handy, just from a bit of playing around. You are ahead of me in starting a cycle with it, though, so I can’t offer you anything more than good vibes. I do think your setup is sound planning, so looking forward to seeing some nice blurple buds! Good luck!
