Hi Everyone First Post! So cut me some slack if I dont exactly get it right the first time but I think I got it handled. Anyways This is going to be a post on prop 250 friendly Legal grow from the state of Cali, were the masters grow :hump: haha But this particular grow I will be posting was my first outdoor grow from last year I think it came out acceptably ok but lets get your opinion.:joint:

So all my Strains are started from Clone on this particular grow I picked up two strains from a local Dispensary in the Central Valley that obviously wasnt legit but hey you live and you learn, Luckily a buddy hooked it up with a very nice pheno of Hindu Skunk or Pot of Gold which some of you should know( Same lineage of genetics)

ok so lets get this started Ill explain everything I use and step by step take you thro the procedure.

Ok Everyone sorry For the delay I had upload pictures to another remote site I dont understand why you cant just upload them on RIU but whatever. Ok so here is how I started out...

I actually Got out pretty late in planting, I planted on June the 23 of 09' but still things werent that bad this was just sort of an experiment to see what I was capable of doing outdoors on my own so here we go...
I had them outside adjusting for I would say a week prior to putting them directly into the ground.

Ok so Prior to planting I picked up a few organic materials I would need to amend the ground before I plant:

Heres what Ive picked up prior to planting:

3 Bags of Black Gold Organic soil
2 Bags of Happy Frog Organic soil conditioner
1 Bag of Earthworm Castings &
1 Bag of Rainbow mix Grow

I have amazing soil where im located so what I did was tilled up the ground completely where I would be planting then added my three bags of Black Gold then sprinkled over the top of that the rainbow mix grow, then Re-roadatilled and got it blended very nicely down to about three feet. I think I remember doing that then adding more rainbow mix and continued to mix to make sure where I planted would be very Fertile.
Heres some more pics from the start.

http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b26/jakieP/Outdoor 09/Picture116.jpg
I believe this was the first 1 week of them outside I have to look up the picture date in the priorities and then sort thro my millions of pictures so it might take longer than I purposed on getting this entire post up alot more work then I presumed!
But Enjoy

haha Yes my friend soil is brown i havent really come across another color of soil you Jackass but yeah from the top it doesnt look like that great of material to be using plus its really dried out so thats why it looks so "sandy" lookin but this was prior to laying out my two bags of happy frog soil conditioner that I used as a sort of Mulch, it adds great beneficials to my soil such as Humus acid, bat guano, Mycorrhizae, Added Oyster Shell and Dolomite Lime for Clay Break-Up its around great shit! so suck it:hump:

Ok so anyways Where I left off I was I conditioned the soil a few days after planting and OH I almost forgot to put up what nutrient line I used!

Heres what I had used to water with:
BioBizz -
FishMix
Bio Bloom
Top Max
Algee-Mic (accasionally used for water mainly used in spray)
Hygrozyme
Great white Mycorrhizae
& Azamax.
I believe that was it.....
for the actual first month of Veg I only watered with the Hygrozyme and Great white since I had already fertilized the ground prior to planting I didnt wanna burn em up with too much fertilizer.

I watered about every three days I have a couple 5gals I used to messure out how much water I would be using, they seemed to have loved everything I gave them they really took it up! I would say I started out watering with 2 fives to water the whole bed then moved up from there again since I was watering pretty frequent I used Hygrozyme to make sure there was noo root rot or any dead root matter that might possibly got burned would of gotten eatin up so my plants are effiencent as they could possibly be.

I was really worried about pest so I was really really on it about spraying consistantly I didnt want one problem, I was going for thee least stress amount as possible!

Ok so lets get some more pictures up!

Looks good. Those should take off!:blsmoke:

Good luck!

Peace
jj
P.S. Is there an outside lite over that door? If you leave it on at night, it would help keep those plants from going into flower early on you. Ask me how I know?

you should provide some shade it looks like that long exposure to direct light could be dangerous to the girls.

Picture Time!

Man sun was really out this day and they were lovin every bit of it!

The date I have on this picture is July 3, of 09'

Ok so were gettin alil further into the grow. This next picture was taken on the 14th of July and its a lil skip ahead but im sure you guys are getting pretty eager now seein these lil babies startin to take off... So what Ive done is Ive actually did the bending technique instead of topping or FIMing cause I wanted to stress them least amout as possible but what I did here was what they call the Teepee technique and it basically just opens up the plant so all the inner nodes get more lighting thus manipulating the plant to have a higher yield.

July 18th

well thats all for now fokes enjoy!

Ok so since its reallly hot in the central valley what I would do when I water is I would first take the hose wet down thee entire bed not really soak it but yeah saturate it enough so when I do came back thro with the fertilized water everything would saturate evenly and it make it to where everything I was giving them was somewhat a little de looted so there was so possibility of nute burn.

The these previous Pictures was the 24th of July
The date I have on this next picture Is the 2nd of August
This is when I took an educated guess on when they started Flower

Aug 4th

Aug 7th
Once I gave them a nice dose of some full bloom flower nutes they fucking loved it! they took off really quick might I add that this was only say a month and two weeks veg outdoor to kinda give you an idea how fast these things took off. Usually season starts say now mid april you could plant but I procrastinated and planted too late but for my first grow I wasnt really worried about it.

alrighty Im picture pooped Ill see if im in the mood to post more later.

Nice Grow, Im in the IE and I just started my first Prop 215 grow as well only Im going the Hydro route. Ive Always wondered about growing outside here, do you have any high temp problems late in the season? And when is the best time to start growing outdoors in So Cal? Those babies look like there going to be massive! Good JOB.

Haha I got a kick outta your avatar good shit man, Uh Im not familar with IE could you tell me where thats kinda located at, you said somethin about SoCal? This is was my first grow I actually did this last season. California my friend is thee most legitimate place to grow cannabis outdoors on this planet I think besides Hawaii, They ate UP the sun even under high temps out where im at in the Central Valley temps reach up to 110 degrees in the summer an they still were lovin it! Its that California Sun baby gotta love it! They still blew up in temps that high I was really supprised. Id have to say the best time to plant would have to around early May in Cali is prob the best time thats what im shootin for but you could plant as early as April.
& thanks for the Kudos glad some ones watchin!:joint:
