Hey guys! This is my first post on RIP but certainly not the first time I've visited! :bigjoint: I am planning an outdoor grow this upcoming 2014 summer and was wondering if anyone has attempted this fine beauty outdoors. I only buy from the tude and they have two reputable breeders who sell this strain in beans. Those breeders being Dinafem and Dutch Passion. DP's SC says to be grown indoors while Dinafem's says both indoor and out. I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on which would be more stable for an outdoor grow in the NE i.e resistance to pests, mildew, mold, ect. Also I WILL be doing a journal on this strain outdoors for SURE but thats a while from now. Anyways I'm very excited already and thank you to anyone who can give some insight! Thanks!

Mons did not really like the straight outdoors, it did do better in a greenhouse. It seems to mon that it does not like the full sun during the hottest part of the day, Mons strawberry outdoors was planted along a wall and part of it was shaded during the hottest part of the day, those buds that were shaded looked the best on the plant, other parts in full sun looked somewhat sunburned and the bud color was sun burnt. Strawberry cough in greenhouse was great, but needed alot of support, sun light not as intense in greenhouse and no sun burn. mon does not know what breeder of strawberry cough it was from Harborside. Mon will NOT be doing it again, while it was good smoke it was not the best yeilder in the garden or greenhouse.

Ive grown dutch passions indoors and mine got pretty tall but it was some real strawberry cough. Probably from the 60/40 sat/ind genetics. Id assume dinafems is reputable too. Id top them regardless and make them bushy but not too bushy because you dont want to promote mold.

Hmmm damn! Well maybe it's time for me to find a different strain..Looking for a sativa dom outdoor beauty! Anyone got any ideas? :D

Friends of mine rely heavily on dutch passion strawberry cough in Ontario Canada so my bet would be that it would perform well for you. I can try to get some more info for you and report back
