Calyxes swollen, trichs cloudy, but not on all branches.

So I took these pics and by the looks its time to harvest the main bud cause the calyxes are swollen and the trichs are cloudy. But I'm not sure about the other branches. Trichs are cloudy but the calyxes are not as swollen, and the hairs are still white. What do you guys think? Last pic is of the main bud.

They still look like they've got some time to grow, but I would suggest that when you notice that the buds are ready for harvest to wait another week, just to ensure that you don't prematurely cut down the plants.

What they said, but you can also harvest in stages, start at the top and let the rest of the plant mature. The plants THC will continue to breakdown into cbd as well so you can get more amber after chop

2 more weeks MINIMUM. The last 2 weeks are when you gain the bulk of your weight, so don't cut 'em short. Also, it's really kind of hard to let them go too long, unless they just start drying up and turning brown. As someone above said, when you think they've peaked out --- wait another week! You'll know when they quit growing/expanding. Those aren't there yet. But they look like some tasty stuff!!! Let us know how she turns out!

Yup.

No need to chop the whole thing if she's not done to your liking.

Chop what IS done and let the rest finish.

Hey all, chopped the main bud on the 2nd and dried a bit of it out on the window sill and tried it last night. Here's a pic of it. Great happy high. Gonna harvest the rest in stages cause some buds look more advanced then others. Always used the trichs as my guide to choppin, but I will wait till they "look ready", and wait a bit longer. Thanks for all the helpful comments.

Yup, chopped her to early for sure. So I am a bit perplexed with what's left. I am going to harvest this in stages but there's something odd going on. The top of the bud sites, branches, have different things. A few of them look to have swollen calyxes that are turning brown with no hairs at all, while other tops have the white hairs on them. The ones with the swollen calyxes have bud sites lower down on the branch that have white hairs coming out. But why the swollen calyxes that are turning brown? See pics for the difference.

I have a jewelers loupe and have used it in the past to check the trichs. Just want to know why the difference in the tops of the branches.

Is there something messing with the dark cycle? Light pole, porch light etc? I can tell it is outside, but it really looks like re-veg which is typically triggered by a disrupted light cycle.

If not it could just be genetic.
