camera help!!! PLEASE!!!

so I'm trying to start a grow journal, but my dumb ass camera wont co-operate!!!
I thought it was a driver problem but I downloaded the proper driver, and it just sits here, I plug it in, the camera gives me 3 options (as allways) PC, print and cancle. so I say PC like usual, than its just a blue screen saying please wait, and thats it, my comp wont even acknowledge its pluged in

Make sure the camera is turned on after you plug it in first ... I'm not being smart, but usually the most annoying of problems turn out to have such simple solutions like that.

Do you have another USB slot? Try to plug it in a different one.. Sometimes the USB slots break.

I tried all my usb slots, even broke one in the process, tried 3 different wires, tried it with the camera on, even though I usualy do it with the camera off.
the thing is my pc had a worm about a month ago so I had to wipe the HD and ever since its been screwing around!
I dont rememeber ever having to put anything on my computer to put the camera on it.
and google sucks with this kind of stuff I can never find the right answer

I'm trying to use a program called driver genius to help me out, but I cant figure it out...
and again I dont know if its a driver problem, I'm just assuming this... and I'm probably very wrong
it told me what was wrong the first time I pluged it in, but I hate reading that shit so I said noo go away, and it never came back to help me ever again

Time to invest in a new camera.

I rememeber that I bought a card reader about a year ago. having no idea what it was I just kept it in the package somewear... and now I cant find it... why do I buy these things?!?!
I think God Hates me, he says hey! I'll make him buy this knowing hell one day need it... and lose it!!! hahaha!!!!
