Can a Plant Survive 56 Degrees?

I have a mature plant in the vegetative stage in a well-hidden pot (no pun intended) outside. A temporary spot of relatively cold weather is coming through when the low temperature at night will be around 56 degrees fahrenheit at night. somewhere i think i read that plants shouldn't be left out below 60s. any advice? thanks :leaf:

mrmagoo I was thinking the same thing being in the midwest and the temps are unseasonably cold this time of year. But as zagato said I check mine in the am and she was a beautiful perky bitch!

thanks, for the advice. just found out the little sucker was a boy :wall:, which likely serves me right given it was just one seed from a bag of cheap, seedy pot. however, it was my first time growing so i still learned alot. but still, thank you so much for your advice, which i will keep it mind for any future outdoors grows with good FEMINIZED seeds from the Netherlands. peace:leaf:
