Yeah, sometimes i see a thread keep on clocking up pages and pages when everything else is quiet and you can damn near bet on that its hps vrs led or is 600w led as hot as 600w hps. There should be a designated troll thread for this. Oh yeah, and for which is more important, spectrum or intensity?

I have no experience with LEDs other than the two 300watt LEDs I got from bloomspect. Paid about $120 for both.

They yielded me 4 1/2 oz from a bag seed plant (3.5oz) and an auto (1oz) I ran 63 days on 12/12 from seed.

I was considering a 400watt HPS but I'll just use these LEDs til they crap out. Then go HPS.

I know right?? It's like an ongoing feud that has nothing to do with anything and folks have forgotten they argued about the same issue last month. Just grow and be merry for goodness sake! :weed:

The topic is dead and shouldn't be resurrected imho.

all sorted now people.. thanks for everyone's input.. learnt a good bit from this thread.. . I went for 4 x 260wat hlg V2 dimmable quantum boards in the end

this is my first indoor grow so I've got nothing to compare it to but after all the reading I've done I'm pretty confident my set up will produce some decent flower

just looking into different watering systems at the minute.. thinking of going with a soil grow using the flora flex matrix set up

how long could you leave none organic nutrients mixed up in a water butt? . I'd like to just set up a timer so it's automated.. obviously with an air stone in there..

keeping it automated isn't essential tbh.. even if it just means filling the water butt every watering that's fine

I just like the idea of not having to squeeze in to get my plants watered.. be nice to just fill the water butt and get all my plants watered and fed evenly in 1 blast.. it would obviously be a bonus if I could mix up a full week's worth tho and get it on a timer

gonna go with a rhizo brain controller to collect the excess run off too

Keeping your nutes mixed for a week should be fine without any worries
