Can Anyone Give Me a Recommendation on a Tent Brand?

I'm considering it as an alternative to having to give up my guest room as I have done in the past. I also want to get away from the smell in my home. I grow my meds with two and sometimes three Aerogardens, not aeroponics, but the registered trade mark growing system. They fit nicely on a computer table I have that should fit in a growing tent about 3 or 4 deep by four feet wide by 6 feet tall. I'd like a recommendation from some one who is doing that now as to what brand is best to buy and why. I'm figuring on incorporating a ventilation fan at the inlet and a carbon filter on the outlet. I'd appreciate your opinion if you'r involved in this type of stealthy cultivation. Thanks.

grow labs are nice, secret jardins are the most light tight, sunhuts are great too and they tend to be a bit over sized. you can get a no name off ebay but you get what you pay for.

16 8' 2x4's - $52.00

hardware - $12.00

10'x100' 6 mil panda film - $72.00

tarp zipper - $10.49

Flanges - $24.00

Total Cost. $170.00 8x8

Cheapest Reliable grow tent in a comperable size- they dont make them but Id imagine it would be over 1,000 dollars for an 8x8x8 and the dinosaur you build is gonna last a lot longer. Food for thought.

I would get a secrect Jardin, but make sure its a DR not a DS as the DS is a budget version of the DR and in my opinion is a piece of shit but the DR is the way to go.

I would recommend the one I'm using. Its the Hydrohut silver edition 2x4 tent. Its actual measurements are 28" x 50" by 78" and has a pretty strong support structure. I am able to hang 2 air cooled hoods, 2 carbons scrubbers, 2 fans all from the top frame without any noticable stresses to the cross bars. This tent has plenty of pre fabricated 6 and 8" ducting holes as well as 3 screened air vents that can be opened or closed if needed. The best part is these tents can be connected to each other and you can expand when necessary. I would highly recommend this tent, I picked up mine, brand new with a light, cool tube, fan and carbon scrubber for around 250$ on craigslist....

Just make sure that If you purchase a tent, it has the silver reflective mylar. I have read the earlier white versions of some brands of these tents were leaking some kind of toxic gas and killing peoples harvests...go with the silver ones!!

If you would like to see my setup, click on the link below my post. I am running 3 strains, dual hid lights and a scrog screen.

draw up plans to build your own. You can customize it to fit your needs exactly. and you can make them out of the same material all of these overpriced ones listed above are made out of. Good luck!
