i forgot to mention the plant was fimmed around noon on july 10th(yesterday). This pic was taken again around noon today. Is this a normal recovery?

a little lower would have been best. leave only 10-20 percent of that shoot.

As frog said-------- leave 20% so maybe a little lower but looks pretty close. As for recovery time you should see some new growth within 24-36 hours. When I top/fim I usually see new growth in 24 hours tops.

i kinda thought it wasnt low enough right after snipping upon closer exam. but was afraid to cut again due to stress.

just clip it again....just a weee bit more off and your golden...it won't stress it by just clipping the tip again.

Task complete. I went ahead an done it. I mean living things are pretty sturdy lol. Dont have the new pic yet but im confident its done right. Once she gets all nice and healed ill post a pic with results from you guys' help and assistance
