can clones vary from same mother?

This may sound crazy, but i have numerous clones cut from same mother at diff times.
Ny question is, several of them are showing different traits. Some have fatter leaves tight nodes. Some have skinny leaves with wide spacing. In other words, some are showing more sativa, some more indica. They are a 75% indica 25% sativa.
Is this because the strain wasn't stable or just normal.
Thanx in advance folks

a cutting from a plant is the same genetic makeup and will always be so, now or ten years down the road.
Thats what i was thinking. But these are looking different. Theres a wide variance between some of the plants, not only in leaf and node structure but also size of main stalks. Could it be from them being cut at diff times in the mothers growth cycle.

Maybe some are exhibiting deficiency signs or some type of stress....that could make them appear to look different.......

Clones taken from different parts of the plant WILL grow differently to start.
They are still the same genetic make up..and should catch up - but lower branch clones for example will generally root faster and grow bigger initially than clones taken from the top of the plant. You will get different rates of growth until you top them (generally after about 5 weeks) and you will see they start to look more alike as they fill out.
It is very normal.

Cool, was just curious as some look totaly different as far as plant structure, but the bud structure is the same between all the clones.

Thanx for your help folks. Wasn't sure if it was an issue with the strains stability or not.

So i'm guessing you guys never heard of a plant showing different genetic traits on branches from the strains they were bred? Well in most cases it won't happen but one of my clones have pink stems/stalk,pink pistils slightly pink flowers and the rest of the clones don't show those traits. The mother plant had pink pistils on a few branches tho but the rest of her and the other clones pistils turn orange/brown/

That would explain the diff. Different cuts at diff times and diff places.
In the pics you can definitely see the difference in the size and shape of the leaves.

That's actually what i originally wrote with it,cause all my clones are different sizes,as you said different cuts and different time, even rooting time can effect the difference.

Phenotype= Genotype+environment. So yes clones from the same mother can exhibit different phenotype traits when grown in vastly different environment's.
