for the past 2 weeks and 2 days now my jack-47 has been vegging under 2 26w cfl's and it has its 3rd leaf set. its about 3-4 inches tall and very dark green. plan on giving a very low dose of nutrients in a couple days.
i now am wondering if i move it under my 150w HPS can i expect an ok yield from it?

I would say not much. Min veg time is like 3 weeks but still that seems short. I would suggest veging for 3 weeks toping it then veging 1 mopre week b4 going to flower.

You can if you want, I think people normally veg until it shows signs of its sex, that can take anywhere from 3 weeks to 2 months. Or you can take clones from your plant and keep vegging the plant but with those clones you can root them and then put them right under the HPS for flowering to see the sex of the plant. And you should get a decent amount if your genetics are good

if you top & lst it, you'd get a pretty good yield.
I've seen good yields from 12/12 from seed, so I'm sure it's possible.

In my op a single plants yeild is not so important. Of course a person would choose a strain that would do best under the given circumstances. The only reason I'd chop the top off one of my seedings would be to clone her. I usually put them right in the flood and drain, 1000w hps supplemented with 360w of flouresent, after they get their first adult leaves. I have learned that to wait longer could cause it to runt. The op runs bloomin' fertilizer all the time. I use the spent water I get every five days on vegging my moms. So I don't worry about mixing up specail nutes for my veg room. Any good mom can produce an untold amount of bud if done properly.
