Can i force flower my female?

i have a plant thats been growing outside for about a month and a half, it showed signs of being a female like 4 days ago, anyway, i want to force flower it without bringing it in. i already brought it in once at 6:41pm (sun rose at 6:41am) and then brought it back outside in complete darkness the same night , and it been there ever since. will it start to flower? if so when? if it wont, how can i make it start . i dont want to bring it back in again. can i put a trash bag or something over it?

You can use a black trash bag, but you have to do it everyday at the same time.

Just make sure the bag you use doesn't let light through it.

its a huge pain in the ass... you need to replicate 12/12 conditions.. so put it on at 6 at night... take it off at 6 am.. every day... for the whole flowering cycle.. its a huge pain.

I wouldn't try it unless i really had to. It is really a pain in the ass and so many things can go wrong.

You might end up with nothing at all.

cant i just put a bag on at 6pm and take it off around 10pm to make sure it has complete darkenss
um i guess you could do that... but there is still light before and after the sunrise if you havent noticed.. but sure go for it its just a plant right? whats your reason for wanting to flower it early you shouldn't be that far off from a flowering period anyways

if i do the bag thing do i have to do it until the day it flowers? also if i didnt put a bag over it when would nature make it start it to flower.

You would have to cover it so that it only see's 12 hours of daylight. You would have to do that every day until the natural day length shortens to 12 hours (late September in most areas of the northern hemisphere). You would only be speeding it up by 4-6 weeks IMO. Doesn't seem worth the hassle to me.

Most strains will be begin to flower naturally in mid August. Some like to wait till September. Most are done by the end of October.

This is exactly what I use, I double bag it though just to make sure even less light gets in. Works just fine untill your plant gets too tall for the bag and starts to press some of the buds down. They you have to get crafty and cut a few bag up and tape them together to make a larger bag big enough. I also put vertical bamboo stakes in to help hold the bag up so it does not rest on the buds. Very easy a cheap method compared to purchasing a tent or building an outdoor box to cover it every night

You gotta keep the light cycle at 12/12 untill you are done and ready to harvest. You can stop with the covering every night once your natural day light cycle hits 12/12. Here in cali that is going to be some time out and since I didn't want my plant to just vegg untill then you gotta mimic nature untill it catches up

I've done this...and had no social life for 2 months or so. My entire existence revolved around moving plants twice daily into a darkened shed...it sucked!.

When I was ALOT younger I tried to force a plant into flowering, I would put it in bedroom closet for 12 hours then put outside for 12 hours the only issue I had was all my clothes stated to wreak really bad. And my mother started to ask a lot of questions
