yes you might need to adjust your enviroment but i do not see whynot. i mean if its super cold and you have no heater obviously itll be cold as fuck. but if you can monitor the inside to be growable , why yes , yes you can !

depends on the strain, to get the best results you'd need to mimic the indoor guys, meaning you want to get to a 12/12 cycle, and the only way is to use artificial lights, run the light in the evening, probably around 6-9 pm or so, lights off from 9 to sunrise (approx. 7am)

Maybe I should just get a grow tent then? Cause howd I'd hook electricity to the green house? And don't I need it to be like pitch black during one of the cycles. The green house is all see through... And would I need like a hydroponic system in there or can I just use regular pots ? I want the most potent and biggest yield

hmm, if you are wanting a hydro setup you may need someones elses advice on that, i'm an organic grower, I have grown hydro before but I am nowhere near an expert on the subject, also you can grow a harvest outside with only natural light, but you'll get small nugs, and it gets cold in sac-town, even in a greenhouse, consistent temps in the 30s and 40s will stunt them, and couple that with the short day and you'll get small nugs and even further you will always have an issue with humidity without fans, the temp difference of a greenhouse and the outside will attract moisture, like your car does at night.
A greenhouse is golden if you can regulate the lights, but then its a gigantic beacon for thieves and/or law enforcement if you aren't legal, you are in CA so I assume you are 215.
Personally i'd do a soil, organic setup with a light to extend the day cycle, I understand that isn't easy for some.
Just keep in mind a harvest done in the winter (with no xtra lights) won't net you much, and you may lose it all in a rainy week or two... can't dry the air in a greenhouse... especially with no electricity.

look up light deprivation grows, you can do four harvest a year this way using the sun as your light source.

long story short, make sure the plants get 12 hours of darkness every day, either by tarping up the greenhouse or taking the plants indoors for a "sleep".

that is about as far as my helps goes unfortunately, good luck!.

This depends on your location and lowest temps,
consider autos in the cooler months
as you don't have to go 12x12
and they take temp swings a lot better

Thank you bro very helpful, and so a grow tent is hydro?
A grow tent is a grow tent. Hydro is growing with a heavily oxygenated nutrient solution (water and nutrients). Examples are deep water culture, flood and drain, nutrient film etc...

If I were to do it outside in a ghouse with only 11-12 hours of daylight I would at least supplement with a few cheap LED's to get at minimum 16hrs preferably 18.

I'd go indoors or wait till late spring to go outside.

Ok but how do I get lights in the green house?? Generator?? And how to do I give them the dark time??? Like how'd I block off the sun light or regular light? From hitting e plants?? And don't the lights have to kinda run during the sun timing ?

Yes you could marijuana can be grown just about any were; remember it's a weed easy to grow and hard to kill !!!! Go for it. Equipment will be your issue growing in all seasons - will take some planning - cost might be expensive

armored cable or conduit to protect it, bury it and run power to the greenhouse better than a generator

it's up to you, how much product do you want? i'm sure if it is for family, friends and personal use, one decent size greenhouse is big enough.

try and get over to the outdoor forum, there will be people on there who have done these kinds of grows before, i'm an indoor guy :P
