Within the climate of the island is not much different. Average air temperatures vary between 4 and 7 ° C in January and February (the coldest months of the year) while in the warmest months (July and August) range from 14 to 20 ° C (annual average of approximately 10 ° C). Rainfall varies: from 760 mm to 2540 mm east to west coast (in the mountains).

Do you have a greenhouse or cold frame? your best bet would be to use a greenhouse. im in birmingham (uk) and get exellent results in the greenhouse and ok results from planting directly outside. I start them in the conservatory after the last frost, once there at about the 4th node I put them into the greenhouse.

I think you will be better off growing auto flowering strains in your location, although you can still get good results with a normal strain you might not have enough good weather for it to finish properly. with autos you can plants some in april some in may some in june and some in july, you will then be able to harvest every 4 weeks untill september with minimal effort and exellent results
