can i just mix weed in with gravy?

i dont know a whole lot about cooking with cannabis, but if i have gravy, which has a lot of fat, could i mix it in with the gravy and still get the buzz? is this recommended or not. i dont plan on downing straight gravy obviously, ima put it on some food, but i was wondering if it would work since its fat solluble.

you need fat or grease and heat i believe, so i think it would get you buzzed if you cooked it in the gravy for a while, but i have only seen direct into pure oil and then cooking with the oil so gravy may not have enough of whatever weed needs to release the thc
