Can I Pick The Buds Ripen?

The hairs on my plants are already turning reddish-brown all the while side branches are still growing in along the lower stem and budding. Since plants ripen from top to bottom, can I pick the buds as they ripen so the lower buds can mature? If so, how can I without killing the plant?

I'd be interested to know if this is possible. I'm not sure myself though.

Yes if they are mature cut um off and start them drying and curing let the other grow and brown if u like i seen it done in seemorebud

Cool. But do I cut? For instance, where would I cut the main cola at? And do I just cut the whole stem that the buds are on?

Its ok to harvest what is ripe and wait for the rest to ripen. Cut the branch down to the ripest bud. No science behind that.

Yes, but the less damage you do to the plant the better. Cut the buds, or the stem off wherever you like to allow more light and energy go to the lower buds. They wont get as big or as good as the main cola etc but they will gain some size. Just be cautious and use common sense.

either way you can harvest a lil bit at a time, just make sure that you do not cut off more than 50% of the plant at any one time. late

Short answer, yes. You may want to get in there closely, and find the stalk so you don't chop what you don't intend to.

Awesome! Thanks to you all! I will trim the ripened buds closely and with much common sense. Also making sure to not trim off more than 50% of all buds. And I just received my seeds from attitude. So i might just have a little gardening party tonight and kick it off with a blunt From me and mine to you and yours, peace and thanks again

i trim buds at different times for different highes, my plants dont seem to mind still growing strong,i harvest when top trics go 50/50 cloudy amber, that is my energy buzz. i let the rest go and turn more amber thats my nightime ready for bed bud. so i get 2 to 3 different types of highes out of a single plant with no ill effects

otwa, how's the rice drying going? I pulled a cola, and couldn't figure out how to fit it into the jar, then I thought, "What about air circulation?" so stuck it in my closet. Dry in three days.

As for the buzz you describe, I have read much debate about this. But it seems you're speaking from well-honed experience, and I'd like to know if it's really that noticeable a difference for you. I ask because, as you may guess, I have some girls who are CLOSE.

yes honestly there is a big difference in my harvest method.i pull some when the trics are all cloudy only, this is my go to work buzz,good spirited light energetic able to function normal. then i go for th 50/50 cloudy amber,nice head and body buzz combined relaxing,mellow. then i have the third harvest the mostly to all amber trics, and this is the couchlock,really stony high.which is my bed time buzz. so in all i get 3 kinds of highes all off the same plant just by watching the trics and harvesting at different times. my plants so far have had no problem at all, i just am gentle in my harvests i usually harvest 3 times over around a 6 week period and like i said no ill effects on the plants that i see.

i am building a dryer like al b fucts seems the way to go but rice does honestly help from what i see. we try, we learn, and we try some more.
