can I start flowering

Hey growers I have a white widow that was stunted and survived andits about 3weeks old wil put pics up just wondering if I could induce flowering at this stage if not when is the earlest I can put a pic on soon

you can flower whenever all depends on how much room you have and how much you want to yield

if you only hav the one plant id veg another week or two. bigger plants make bigger buds. heres a fun fact for you too! most strains double in size during flowering. some strains can even triple in size. good luck yo happy growin.

you can start flowering from seed, but u choose depending on how fast you want to harvest, or how much space u got

if it's had a hard life why not let it go a couple more weeks

[FONT=&quot]It sounds like it could do with more time under the vegging lights to build it up.

Think about what size plant you want and switch it to flowering accordingly.

If it's and indica dominant expect it to double in size.

A sativa can treble, but you could Fim or Top it to slow that growth.[/FONT]

The thing is I have 5 others that are much younger and I was thinking I could flower it so I have something even if it is only small do I just put it under the hps light and let it do its thing on 12/12 I was just gonna flower it to get rid of it lol

If you wait a few more weeks and then flower, you'll get more yield. But if you don't care about yield off this plant, then yes, you can flower now. Move to 12/12 and in 8-10 weeks you'll be able to harvest.

Agree with the majority. If it's made it this far. Give it a few more weeks to develop and get healthy. As posted, you can flower any time. But the bigger and healthier your gal is, before flippin'. The better the yield should be. I have a couple foot tall abused mamas in the garden about 1/2 through flower. If I coulda, I would have given them a few more weeks of veg. You've got this opportunity.

Thanks guys for all ur input I am going to put it under my hps on 18/6 for a week thn switch it to 12/12 think thats ok and when should I give it nutes for flowering am doing a manual hydro using 3/1 perlite/vermuculite medium with the res of two inches in my pots

[FONT=&quot]Well in that case, yes just put it under 12/12 lighting and you will be looking for a harvest time of around 8 weeks after it actually starts to flower.

It can take around two weeks for flowers to start to appear so around 10 weeks from the time you flip it.

If it's a Sativa dominant you might be looking at around 14 weeks after the flip.

Excellent it was under my 300w dual spec cfl but right now its under my 400w mh after the week or so when I flip I will b using my 400w hps do you start feeding flowering nutes at the flip or a week after

any reason you want to keep the plant on 16/8 for a week?
cause for mj no need to gradually reduce hours, mj on a more than 12/12 will veg, on 12/12 will flower, on a dark period plant does not grow. 20/4 -24/0 hours for a week would benefit you more than 16/8.

you should mix your veg and flower nutes up to about half way thew flowering. you will see less of the yellowing of the fan leafs toward the end of harvest. and get better resin and trichome production ! start slow with the nutes half strength to whatever it says on the packaging.

are you kidding me? why run an mh/hps for those times... pointless and wasteful. all around unhelpful bad advice. well you didnt even answer him at all so why even chime in huh?
