can I start my seeds under the red light 12/12

Hi
I'm stuck for space for a few weeks, can I start my seeds under a red cfl 250 and switch back to a blue bulb to finish the get period....will it cause any harm...i will to.switch my lights to 12/12 while the red bulb is in use.....

Start your seeds under 18-24 hours. If you keep them under 12/12 they can turn hermie and stuff. Don't think the color of the bulb will kill them but would try to give them a regular light bulb (just one of those regular eco bulbs we get these days). That will definitely boost with some more white lights if you could.
