Its prolly too late. You could set up a flood light or something outside. Leave it on about 3-4 hours after it gets dark. The light wont help it grow but it will think its summer and grow.

Never too late unless it's too cold, different strains can handle different climates better. People grow outdoors and leave their plants in temps below 40 degrees F they do just fine. I've also seen strains grow in heat of 110 degrees F, they just require more water at higher temps. For optimal growth all strains will thrive in 60 to 78 degrees F. I wouldn't worry about temps as much as daylight hours. check the day light hours for your area if they are above 12 your plant will have vegetative growth. You want as much of this as possible before the light hours drop below 12 hours per day and the plant begins to flower, thinking it's life cycle for that year is ending because Marijuana is an annual. If your hours are 12 or below a quick solution is just to bring the plant indoors expose it to light for a few hours or so just until you know it has had more than 12 then put it back out. I've grown indoor and outdoor, soil and hydro and I can say the plants appreciate the sun much more than any other source of energy.

it's a good time to start. i live south of olando and grow outdoors. spring in south florida is perfect for growing. you'll be vegging your plant until around June 20, whenever the summer solstice is and then hours of sunlight decreases, which will induce the flowering cycle. as stated above, nothing beats the sun for growing. it gets hot as hell here but as a result i just have to water more. i even let my seeds germinate in direct sun all through the summer. WTF? Of course you can set some plants out. Get some sativa that will handle the heat and pick them when ripe, late Nov. You've got 6 months of growing time my friend.
