Can I switch to 6/2 light schedule when in 18/6 now?

Clones, same lights, same nutrients, same up potting, same amount of nutrients poured in, same schedule everything and a control group of the same clones :)

You're the one with the brilliant hypothesis, you test it.

My prediction, if you are capable of pulling this off, is you will see a very small and statistically insignificant difference. Further you will incur other costs that will render it equipose. You can't do this with just 2 plants you need to work out how many you have to grow so it will be a viable experiment and not simply random chance. I suggest using a sample size and confidence interval calculator since I doubt you have the mathematics.

But hey just yell another insult then get angry enough to go prove me wrong.

I just gave you a short and concise synopsis about how to do an actual experiment so the information you get (assuming you can keep those plants alive) would be valid.

not sure if I replied but I’ve been growing just fine with 18/6 for 3 years now and saw 6/2 blowing up more and more so just thought throw it out there…some think it’s just idiotic to think it but they also think I came up with this idea on my own lol…I’m setting up a test tho and hoping they thrive honestly but also a bit skeptical….time will tell tho

For those who think they know everything about my past growing….I say First year growing because it is under my own everything, environment, strains, techniques, and really whatever I want, etc for the first time….I’ve been growing a tad over 4 years with a brother of mine and lately branched out since I had the bux and it doesn’t hurt that I’m comfortable growing and harvesting top shelf bud….so now that I’m officially on my own With my own everything, I’m saying first year… as should you if that’s how it went…I only did a SCRoG once (hence newbie central for it) ever, it wasn’t fun trying to get around the tent that’s against a wall, so I made a cpl individual scrog setups for the first grow on them that’s happening right now in a first year/brand new set up….ever.

As always, most ppl on here are great and actually are extremely helpful so thank you and much appreciated…happy growing fam

hey I’ll give ya resilience if nothing else.

And where do you see 6/2 “blowing up”. I work with a lot of growers. Talk growing basically 7 days a week with commercial to the hobbyists. Haven’t once heard anyone talking about this, even the bro science guys. And this is real life not YouTube. So just curious. Maybe the trends start out west or something or I missed it???

I can’t use a previous grows to show my first ever and last scrog? I’m confused….most ppl said 24/0 was garbage also at first but some love it…maybe don’t shut out everything right away just because it sounds dumb …expand your mind a bit

I've been around growing for a few years and never heard it said 24hrs is garbage.
Some might do but everyone knows it works fine.

Feel free to reinvent the wheel that's what you're doing, at best you'll get decent veg growth that could be gotten without the bs.

I'm all for experiments check my posts you'll see I've my own ideas but some things are already set in stone.
