I had a seed pop by accident where i smoke my buds...it is dithrr a hermie-pollinated seed from my spring grow or someone is growing males by me. Eithrr way, i dont have lights to veg the seedling.... can i just leave the seedling outside, will it get to a decent size and flower? i live in so cal near los Angeles and am aware of the possible weather issues

i would say yes if it sayed above 50 or 60 but if its going to be any lower i would take it inside and put it in a window or something. after the first month it should be ok to go out and stay out untill about freezing. might have slow growth and turn purple but it should stay alive if healthy. i hear adding silicon helps it get through stuff like that. also you'll basicly be doing a 12/12 from a seed grow. probably wont get any higher than a foot tall then start to flower. hell if its already popped and you got extra soil and nutes go for it. good luck!

Its been out for a few days and is doing fine...doesn't get below 50°F here at night
yeah she should be fine... if you want to keep her alive just make sure it wont get to old on her or toss a clear 2 liter over her to make a small green house. I have a 1/2 water bottle acting like a seed green house now and a larger one for them when they get bigger

my friend intentionally seeded a few branches this year... a few seeds dropped an have now sprouted. No idea what their fate is, but should be interesting to see... its 30 degrees F everynight here 50 during the day if its sunny ;)

If you live in the la area you'll be all good but since its from seed it will be a very tiny plant because it will go straight into flower and like Gioua said put a clear 2 liter bottle over it. Im from the la area and have a few girls outside that i vegged inside though. IMG_20121216_153910.jpg Heres a ghost I have outside right now in the crazy wind right now at 40 days

transplanted the seedlings into beer pong cups today... put em in an empty greenhouse in the cups... burried the cups in soil so they dont get hit too hard by the cold outside (raised bed inside the greenhouse). was working in the area they had popped so I scooped em up by hand ;). keep you up to date on em, but they are in a greenhouse, and very little effort will be put into maintaining them (I think)....

got a few seeds that I started in my garage in a small fish tank with two replaced daylight cfl's(42w actual) been there since 12/09/12 and I plan to throw em out on the first of january...Im in northern cali and my garage hits 40 almost every night in the past few nights. Id say it depends on the strain your growin....IVE got pineapple kush genetics but not sure if its crossed......so well call this one bagseed....temps are not a big worry in my case Im worried about sun light in jan.
