Can I trim some fan leaves while in flower?

Hi fellow potheads!! My plants (2) are in their second week of flower. I'm using cfl's and was wondering if I should trim some big fan leaves on the lower and mid part of plants. I would like better light distribution throughout the now forming buds. Is there a chance to turn the plant hermie if I trim fan leaves? So far these whores are looking nice, bagseed tricks!! I have as many 2700k warm cfl's as my space will allow, about 13 total with random wattages, the largest 40 watts and some 26 and 23 watts. So can I trim fan leaves without turning my hoes hermie?? Thanks for you expert advice, I am popping my cherry with y'all!

Leave them. If the plant didnt need them or want them anymore they would turn brown and fall off. If your concerned about light, move them out of the way.

Thanks dude, I have been hanging small chains to hold the larger fan leaves down, kind of like LST'ing. Something really weird happened today, I cut two large fan leaves off of the bottom of one plant that had some brown spots on them, either an old mag or zinc deficiency, and about three to four seconds later the plant started to shake at the top, it wasn't from the cut, used very sharp scissors. It was like the plant said, "What the Fuck"!!!
