Can it OverVeg?

Alright, here it is, without explaining what is going on I have a couple of small girls at this point, one larger than the other at about 18in. and the other at only about 10in. I have been waitin on some fresh clones to finish up and tommorow they are becoming of age. I am still runnin a 24/7 light as of now, (why, it must have slipped me to change it for some odd reason) but I am worried that my larger girl who has been FIM'ed and tied down will not meet the potential it could've because of this over exaggerated period of vegatation. I know that may have not been the clearest explanation but any input is appreciated.

I had a plant that was older than the clones i got when i first started my grow, and the only thing i noticed was that she started showing maturity and her sex sooner but didn't have any problems. I also did training on her (LST) to an extreme to keep a somewhat even canopy. Well so far in flowering she's completely owning the other plants but then again she's getting spoiled by daddy with LED light.

First pic from 1 week into the grow. Second and third from this morning, 4 weeks veg, 19 days flower.

The only thing I can think you might have a problem with is if you have one tied down and one going straight up, you'll have problems getting them even lighting.

Interesting, just yesterday after posting that I went to check on them and to clean up for the incoming clones. When I went do some more LST training (which I just started the other day) I noticed that my larger plant has started showing her sex, and she is a female, there were just a few preflowers right at the top, I think I expected this one to preflower else where but I guess I am just glad she is showing her sex.
But hey respondee, when you say LED lights, I mean I know what they are but what is the difference in say using, uhhh, christmas lights?, or some sort of string lights? Just a question that popped in my head.
Back to the original topic though, I bringing in some clones today so I am just gonna max out the LST and possibly add another light but the plan is to get a very even, full, canopy which I feel is possible.

LST is low stress training

You tie down parts of the plant to make a more even canopy and it will grow up towards the light. Tie down a little, let it grow, tie down a little, let it grow

jomal,
i was checking out your setup, it looks alot like mine when i started except in a bathtub.
i used a couple of those spiral flourescents, a couple of 4 ft tubes and got nice results.

every week i added another light or two and each time the results were obvious.

i broke down and bought a 400w hps last week ($ 120) and it is amazing. plants are bigger bushier and stronger looking than ever, along with a few burnt leaves on top(live and learn).

btw

Thanks for the help!!!

I'm definitely going to add more lights, I'm actually going shopping for some soil today so you never know what I'll come home with......

Someone posted a link for an HPS I'm thinking about using for flowering....it was really cheap and seemed like a good deal. I'd have to wire it, but as long as it was easy to wire like my current lights it wouldn't be a big deal....

I just hate messing with the electrical stuff. I'd hate to do something wrong and burn my apartment down....

use a surge protecter like the one on the computer, that way if something goes wrong you just pop a curcuit right there and it shouldnt affect the rest of the house.
im not an electrician!!!!
i have rewired most of my house however and it is still standing, but ask around about the surge protecter
